MET has assisted numerous commercial, industrial and governmental clients design and implement pollution prevention programs. We act as our client’s in-house environmental management department. Our pollution prevention programs enable clients to decrease waste generation and disposal. It also reduces chemical costs and long-term spill liability. We do everything in compliance with state and federal regulations. Our services include:

MET’s stormwater pollution prevention plans are designed to be user friendly. Contained within a loose-leaf binder, our client can easily update their plan as site conditions change. This happens without additional costs that are normally incurred for re-writing a plan. The format and contents of our plan have been reviewed and approved by the MDEQ.
 

SPCCs are intended to identify and eliminate obvious spill situations. They also provide direction in the event a spill does occur. MET’s experience in the petroleum industry and emergency spill response combine to create a comprehensive SPCC plan that meets EPA requirements. 

MET provides comprehensive and confidential environmental audit services for commercial, governmental and industrial clients. Each audit is designed to address the specific needs of each client. The audits comply with federal, state and local environmental regulations.  Areas normally addressed in the audit include waste management for hazardous and liquid industrial waste, waste water disposal, storage tanks that are above and below ground, the community’s right to know and release prevention.(not exactly sure what these last couple of points mean.)
