POLLUTION PREVENTION/ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE SERVICES:
MET has assisted numerous commercial, industrial and governmental clients design and implement pollution prevention programs tailored to their specific operations.  We act as our client’s “in-house” environmental management department.  Our pollution prevention programs enable our clients to decrease waste generation, disposal and chemical costs, reduce long-term spill liability, and afford regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations.   Our services include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

 

 

Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP): MET’s storm water pollution prevention plans are simple to understand and are designed to be “user friendly”.  Contained within a loose-leaf binder, our client can easily update the plan as site conditions change, without additional costs that are normally incurred for re-writing the plan. The format and contents of our plan have been reviewed and approved by the MDEQ.

Environmental Compliance Audits: MET provides comprehensive, confidential environmental audit services for commercial, governmental and industrial clients. Each audit is designed to address the specific needs of our clients. The audits focus on compliance with federal, state and local environmental regulations.  Areas normally addressed during an audit include, but are not limited to, waste management (hazardous and liquid industrial waste), waste water disposal, storage tanks (above and below ground), Community Right-to-Know and release prevention.

Spill Prevention, Containment and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plans: A SPCC is intended to identify and eliminate obvious spill situations and provide direction in the event that a spill does occur at a facility.   MET’s experience in the petroleum industry and emergency spill response is combined to develop a comprehensive, easy to follow SPCC plan that meets stringent EPA requirements.
