EMERGENCY SPILL RESPONSE:
MET provides trained personnel, containment/collection equipment, monitoring instruments and site safety management to provide 24-Hour Emergency Spill Response services.

Location: MET’s main office is located in St. Ignace, Michigan. This office is currently staffed with five, OSHA trained (including current medical monitoring) personnel and two office technicians.  This location, on the Straits of Mackinac, enables fast response time throughout the Northern Lower Peninsula and Eastern Upper Peninsula.

Networking: MET has teamed with a certified OPA 90 offshore spill response company - Marine Pollution Control of Detroit, Michigan.  This arrangement enables MET to provide turnkey response capabilities in Northern Michigan.

Spill Response Stand-by: In an effort to meet a one-hour spill response time, MET provides spill response stand-by.  For fueling facilities located outside a one-hour mobilization time from St. Ignace, Michigan, MET’s response team and equipment will mobilize to a convenient location, within a one-hour response time to the fueling.
